Who we are

Rooted in Karnali, travelling all of Nepal

Rara Karnali Tours is a Nepal-based travel company named after Rara, Nepal's largest lake, and the mighty Karnali river. We specialise in domestic tours and treks across the whole country – from the remote west to the Everest region – and also arrange outbound holidays for Nepali travellers.

Every itinerary is planned by locals who know the trails, the weather and the people. We keep groups small, pay our guides and porters fairly, and look after every detail: permits, flights, jeeps, hotels and teahouses.
